Voices of Fisher is launching! After months of planning and preparation, we are celebrating with two superstars of the Independent Community movement at our launch at the Baringa Tavern on Thursday 6 June 2024 (which is also Queensland Day!).
We'll hear from Phil Haines (Campaign Manager for elected independents Cathy McGowan and Helen Haines) and Clare Doube (Senator David Pocock's 2022 campaign team leader and co-founder of proACT).
Our speakers will talk about what an independent community movement means and how it can benefit our local region. Keryn Jones (Voices of Fisher Core Team member, environmental advocate and previous Sunshine Coast Councillor) will share her inspiring story and give insight into what's possible.
